Traffic inspired games designed for ages 3+
Two traffic inspired games to promote physical movement and bonding alongside a transport or construction theme unit
Red Light/ Green Light: Using either red/green light or red/yellow/ green light, teachers can hold up and verbally say the traffic light colours or just hold up the lights for little learners to move across a space
Stop & Go: Using both the stop sign and go sign, teachers can hold up and verbally say the sign names or just hold up the signs for little learners to move across a space
I recommend printing this resource on thick card or laminate to allow multiple uses. You could also add wooden craft sticks to make sign holders.
Please ensure young children are supervised with small objects.
Enjoy & spark play!
